Homemade Ground Turkey Sausage Breakfast Patties
These Homemade Turkey Sausage Patties are the perfect high protein breakfast, packed with flavor, less fat than pork sausage, and free from the artificial ingredients you'd find in most grocery store brands. They’re made with simple ingredients, pan-fried to golden perfection, and ready in about 10 minutes.
What you need

tbsp maple syrup

tbsp coconut oil

tbsp fresh sage

tsp paprika

tsp black pepper

tsp ginger

lb ground turkey

tsp table salt

tsp garlic powder

tsp ground allspice
Instructions
0 Mix the ingredients. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except coconut oil. Mix well with your hands (a wooden spoon works too, but hands are best for texture). 1 Scoop the patties. Use a cookie scoop to form small patties. Roll into balls and flatten gently on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. 2 Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Add coconut oil and let it melt and shimmer. 3 Cook patties in a single layer for 5 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure an internal temperature of 165°F. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil & repeat the process with each patty, working in batches if you need to. 4 Serve & enjoy! Serve immediately with your favorite breakfast foods or store. See notes on how to store for meal prep.View original recipe
