Flourless Small Batch Double Chocolate Protein Cookies

These Double Chocolate Protein Cookies are one of my recipes that went absolutely viral on social media - and for good reason, they're the best protein cookies! This recipe is gluten free, flourless, egg free & dairy free and is made with wholesome, real food ingredients. I use only the highest quality 3 ingredient protein powder which gives these cookies their irresistible texture. This recipe makes about 3 large cookies with around 24 g protein per cookie!

What you need

tbsp gluten free flour

tbsp unsweetened cocoa

tbsp maple syrup

tbsp almond milk

tbsp vanilla extract

tsp baking powder

tsp salt
Instructions
0 Pre-heat oven to 350F and line a small baking sheet with parchment paper. 1 Mix the batter. Add the dry ingredients to the bowl first & mix gently, then add the wet ingredients. Mix together with a fork until a thick batter forms and all ingredients are fully incorporated. The batter will resemble traditional cookie dough, but may be a touch stickier depending on the type of protein powder you’re using. 2 Add Mix Ins. Fold in chocolate until fully incorporated. 3 Scoop the dough. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop the dough into three large cookies. The cookies will spread a bit when baking, but I like to smoosh them down just a bit with my hand. Be sure to leave room in between so they don’t bake into each other. 4 Bake. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the cookies are set & golden brown. If the cookies aren’t quite set when you remove it from the oven, instead of baking longer than 10-12 minutes, place it in the fridge for 5 minutes, this will help them set.View original recipe
