oz sweet cherries

tsp ground ginger

tsp vanilla extract

cup almond flour

cup coconut sugar

Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 375F and grease a 9” baking dish with butter, ghee, or pan spray. In a medium mixing bowl, add cranberries, cherries, tapioca starch, vanilla, spices and coconut sugar mixing gently to combine, ensuring fruit is fully coated with the sugar and spice mixture. Pour mixture into baking dish. In the same medium mixing bowl, add almond flour, coconut sugar and cinnamon, mixing gently to combine. Add diced nuts if using. Add in softened butter. Using your fingers, pinch together dry mixture and butter until a crumbly topping begins to form. Evenly distribute topping over filling. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until topping is golden brown. NOTE: The cranberries & cherries will release some moisture while baking. For a crunchier topping, add 2/3 cup crushed almonds or pecans. You can also shave a bit of dark chocolate on top because why not?View original recipe
