1. In a blender, add all of the ice cream base ingredients (coconut milk, almond milk, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, dates, and salt) & blend until completely smooth. 2. Pour blended ice cream base into the Ninja Creami container and freeze for 8 hours up to 24 hours. 3. Once frozen, process the ice cream base in your Ninja Creami using the “lite ice cream” function. You will likely need to respin when it is complete & I suggest adding an additional tbsp of water or almond milk before doing this. 4. After respinning, add in your mix-ins (chopped almonds, chopped dark chocolate, mini marshmallows), process on the “Mix In” function (the Creami instructions say not to do this after using “respin, but I tested it out & it works fine! You can also simply mix in by hand). You can store the ice cream in the freezer up to 3 days for optimal freshness. If you’re not enjoying immediately, be sure to allow the dairy free ice cream to sit out at room temp for 15-20 minutes.
